Limestone employees take advantage of college's program for working adults

      Three Limestone College employees celebrated their college graduation over the weekend by going back to work today. Rosalyn Foote, Teresa Bratt and Amy Dover have spent the past four years attending Internet and evening classes made available through the college's Extended Campus program.

Humane society seeks to modify lease with city
Wants to build exercise yard

      Prospective pet owners soon will be able to get up close and personal with their future pets. The City of Gaffney Police Committee has agreed to amend its lease agreement with the Humane Society to allow for the construction of an exercise yard at the local animal shelter.

Warrants issued for gun pointing
      Arrest warrants were issued for three people Monday in the wake of a Sunday morning incident in which two men allegedly brandished a gun during a dispute. Warrants for pointing a firearm and simple assault and battery were issued for Nigel Phillips, of 4th Street in Gaffney.
