Lathan R. Dellinger
Cherokee County native

CHESNEE - Lathan Reese Dellinger, 17 months, of 410 Joe H. Stephens Road, went to be with Jesus on Sunday, Dec. 16, 2007, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Cherokee County, he was the son of Jeff R. Dellinger and Kim B. Dellinger. He attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Spartanburg.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kylan Brianne Dellinger of the home; maternal grandparents, Larry Baumgarner and Geraldine Jennings of West Union; paternal grandparents, Larry Dellinger and Carolyn Dellinger of Westminster; and paternal greatgrandmother, Sally Dove of Greenville.

The family will receive friends today from 3-4 p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church. Services will be held at 4 p.m. at the church, immediately following visitation, and will be conducted by the Revs. David Swofford and Benny Davis. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Children's Home of Cherokee County, P.O. Box 1896, Gaffney, S.C. 29342; or to Spartanburg Children's Shelter, 200 Hudson L. Barksdale Blvd., Spartanburg, S.C. 29306.
