Duke Energy files more paperwork with PSC in nuclear plant project

Duke Energy has filed an application with the Public Service Commission of South Carolina to continue to incur pre-construction cots of up to $230 million through Dec. 31, 2009, on the company's proposed nuclear station in Cherokee County.

A copy of the company's application can be obtained at the commission's office in Columbia. The commission will hold a hearing on the application Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 10:30 a.m.
