Charlotte native

Frances Crevier Elliott, 58, of 141 Elliott Drive, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2007, at her residence.

Born in Charlotte, N.C., she was the wife of Ronald K. ("Pass") Elliott and daughter of Frances C. Austin of Buffalo and the late Woodrow D. Austin. She was a member of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two sons, Frank Jordan of Cowpens and Matthew Jordan of Spartanburg; three sisters, Joyce Vaughn of Lake Lure, N.C., Glynette Scott and Sheree Malpass, both of Buffalo; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery in Union. The family will receive friends from 12:30-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Charles Humphries, Joey Vaughn, Kelvin Elliott, Kenny Elliott, Jimmy Whelchel and David Martin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Whelchel, Barry Humphries and Bob Wolfe.

Memorials may be made to Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church, 805 Cherokee Ave., Gaffney, S.C. 29340.

The family is at the home of Kelvin and Tammy Elliott, 133 Elliott Drive.
