BLACKSBURG - Barbara Jean Dix Davis, 63, of 381 Martin Hills Road, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Systems.

A native of Winter Haven, Fla., Mrs. Davis was the wife of Mickey M. Davis and daughter of Clarence Eugene and Mildred Hazel Watson Dix of Florida. She worked as a truck driver and was of the Protestant faith.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Davis is survived by three sons, William Douglas of Albuquerque, New Mexico, George Douglas of Clairfield, Tenn., and Thurman Davis of Blacksburg; a daughter, Gina Emory of White Oak, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Gordon Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Ann Rodgers officiating.
