Edwards in Gaffney today

North Carolina Sen. John Edwards will bring his "Back Home, Back Roads Barnstorm," campaign tour to Limestone College's Fullerton Auditorium today.

The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature music from Dr. Ralph Stanley of "Oh Brother Where Art Thou?" fame. It will be emceed by Congressman Ben Jones, who starred as Cooter on the "The Dukes of Hazzard" television show.

North Carolina Congressman Heath Shuler is also scheduled to appear. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

The South Carolina Democrat Party Primary is slated for Saturday, Jan. 26.

It's the second time in three months that a presidential hopeful has visited Limestone College. In November, Delaware Sen. Joe Biden visited the school's dining hall for a meet and greet with voters.
