St. Andrews senior forward Danielle Norman tallied her eighth double-double of the season but visiting Limestone College built a 31- point halftime lead by shooting 60- percent in the first half and cruised to a 73-53 Conference Carolinas women's basketball victory on Monday.

The Saints (9-9 overall, 4-4 Conference Carolinas) held the Knights to just 19 percent shooting while dominating the glass, 27-15, in the first half to build an insurmountable 48-17 lead at the intermission.

St. Andrews played much better in the second half, outscoring the Saints 36-25. But the 31-point halftime proved to large to overcome.

Limestone shot 44.6 percent from the floor while St. Andrews only connected on 27 percent of its shots. The Saints finished with a 50- 37 rebounding edge.

Monica Adams logged her own double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds while junior Addie Graves had a game-high 14 rebounds to go along with her eight points. Ariel Lyons chipped in with eight points and six assists.
