Larry Dean Patterson, 59, of 1434 N. Limestone St., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2008, at Peachtree Centre.

Born in Union, he was the son of George Matthew Patterson Sr. and Sadie Mae Inman McNeal. He was a veteran of the U.S. Merchant Marines, a self-employed carpenter and of the Protestant faith.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
