DRIVE-IN THEATER - If you've lived in Gaffney since the 1950s, you might remember the drive-in theater on Hwy. 29S shown in the top portion of this photo taken by Dever Lemmons in 1958 from the airplane he was piloting. The county's swimming pool for blacks is the rectangle in the middle of the picture and Hyatt Street is the road at the bottom of the picture.
