Warriors, Lady Warriors to play for championships on Saturday

The Granard Warriors and the Lady Warriors will play for the Little Six Tournament Championship in their respective brackets on Saturday at Whitlock Middle School in Spartanburg.

The Warriors will take on Gaffney Middle at 3 p.m. for the boys championship.

The Lady Warriors will play McCracken at 1 p.m. for the girls championship.

In second round action on Wednesday, Ron Best topped all scorers with 25 points to pace the Warriors in a 53-45 victory over Carver. Zac Smith added 8 points, while Joey Copeland was praised for his defensive efforts.
