District courier David Parris resigned Wednesday, a day after the school board held a closed session to discuss possible disciplinary action against him.
Parris was a part-time bus driver and ran the district's print shop for many years. He was a longtime assistant softball coach.
A computer regularly used by Parris was reportedly confiscated by law enforcement authorities.
He has not been charged with any wrongdoing.
Parris had been on paid leave from the school district.
School trustees met behind closed doors for 45 minutes at Tuesday's school board meeting to discuss a personnel matter involving the district employee. After returning to regular session, the school board took no action.
School District Superintendent Dr. Bill James had no comment following the school board meeting.
