Hickory Grove native

BLACKSBURG - Mary Ledbetter Wilkins, 81, of 101 N. Chester St., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at her residence.

Born in Hickory Grove, she was the widow of Johnny Carroll Wilkins and daughter of the late John Ledbetter and the late Cora Lee Mullinax Ledbetter. She was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Lynn Heackley of the home; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three nieces and one nephew.

Cryptside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Clingman Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Ben Powell.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary and at other times they will be at the residence.
