FORT MILL - Warren Lee Helms Sr., 51, of 10632 Barberville Road, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, N.C.

A memorial service was held Sunday, Feb. 10, at 4 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel with Pastor Ned Duncan officiating. Visitation was held following the service.

A native of Monroe, N.C., Mr. Helms was a son of the late Warren Bailey Helms and the late Clydie Elizabeth Crow Helms. He was a member of Catawba Baptist Church and was formerly employed by American Theater Supply in Charlotte and was a truck driver and terminal manager for Fredrickson Motors for 20 years.

Mr. Helms is survived by his son, Warren Lee Helms Jr. of Rock Hill; his daughters, Mary Beth Helms of Fort Mill and Hannah Nicole Helms of Rock Hill; his brother, Donald Ray Helms and wife, Helen, of Rock Hill; his sisters, Mary H. Pettus and husband, Dickie, of Fort Mill, Emily Parris and Carolyn Parris, both of Gaffney; and one grandson, Brandon Helms.

The family is at the home of Donald and Helen Helms, 2899 Southeastern Road, Rock Hill.
