Christy Ann Crawford MSgt. Carl Harry McCoy Jr. MONCKS CORNER - Christy Ann Crawford and MSgt. Carl Harry McCoy Jr. will be married in May at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina in Mount Pleasant.

Miss Crawford is the daughter of Raymond and Brenda Crawford of Gaffney. Her grandparents are the late Fred Crawford, the late Betty Lemmons Crawford, the late Jesse Peterson and the late Edna Thompson Peterson, all of whom lived in Gaffney. A 2003 graduate of Spartanburg Community College with an Associate Degree in Business, she is employed by Summerville Dental Center in Summerville and plans to pursue her RN degree in the fall at Trident Technical College.

MSgt. McCoy is the son of Michael and Jane Surface of Sikeston, Mo., and the late Carl McCoy who resided in Matthews, Mo. His grandparents are the late Melton McCoy and the late Lillian McCoy, both of whom lived in Doniphan, Mo., and the late Clara E. Myers who resided in Sikeston. He entered the Air Force in January 1988 as a Security Forces Specialist and is currently active, serving as a Master Corrections Officer at the Naval Consolidated Brig in Charleston.
