HAMPTON LIBRARY OPENS - Members of Cherokee Avenue Baptist Church recently celebrated the grand opening of the church's Hampton Library. The library was named in memory of a former pastor, the Rev. C.E. Hampton, and in honor of Magdalene Hampton. Mrs. Hampton is pictured holding Julianna Pennington, 3-month-old daughter of Aron and Jennifer Pennington, while Dr. Clyde Thomas, pastor, looks on.
