Children OK


CHILDREN OK -  A daycare center bus carrying about a dozen young children was rearended Monday afternoon at the intersection of Bonner Lake Road and North Limestone Street. Luckily, Gaffney Firefighters said, none of the children sustained any injuries. The school bus was struck from the rear by a beige Chrysler Sebring. The bus sustained a dented rear bumper while the Chrysler vehicle sustained some minor damage to its front end. Paramedics responded to the scene as a precautionary measure and four youngsters were taken to Upstate Carolina Medical Center just to be checked out. All of the vehicles involved were able to drive away from the accident scene.
