ARSON - Gaffney Fire Department and Gaffney City Police are investigating an apparent arson outside the Broad River Baptist Association on Railroad Avenue. Someone set fire to a trash can located just outside the entrance to the Railroad Avenue building last week. Firefighters found the charred and melted remains of the trash can on the sidewalk. A family of three lost their home, as well as three dogs, to a fast-moving fire that erupted Saturday night.
