Mal Ready

Malcolm James Ready, 65, of 200 York Road, passed away March 17, 2008, at his home.

Born in Roanoke, Va., he was the son of the late Donald A. Ready and Hazel Morrell Ready and lifelong partner of Peter J. Imondi. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was retired from Narragansett Screw Company. An

avid member of

Woodward Road Social Club in North Providence, R.I., he attended Limestone Presbyterian Church.

In addition to his partner, he is survived by a sister, Barb Goodhart and her husband, Joseph, of Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother-in-law and sister-inlaw, Charlene and Douglas Lombardi of Johnston, R.I.; a niece, Tonya Dirocco of Johnston, R.I.; and a nephew, Silvio Dirocco, also of Johnston, R.I.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 20, from 1-2 p.m. at Limestone Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at the church at 2 p.m., following the visitation, and will be conducted by Dr. Rob Blumer.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials may be made to Peter Imondi, 200 York Road, Gaffney, S.C. 29340.
