COLUMBIA - Memorial services for Pamelia ("Pam") Hawkins Phillips, 54, will be held Thursday, March 20, at 11 a.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo, with visitation following the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Thornwell Home for Children, P.O. Box 60, Clinton, S.C. 29325; the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, S.C. 29210; or the American Heart Association, Mid-Atlantic Affiliate, 520 Gervais St., Suite 300, Columbia, S.C. 29201.

Mrs. Phillips died Monday, March 17, 2008. Born in Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Harry Benjamin and Polly Lovelace Hawkins. A graduate of Gaffney High School and University of South Carolina, she was a loyal Gamecock fan and longtime employee of Bell South/AT&T. She was of the Presbyterian faith.

Surviving are her husband, Keith "Kip" Ira Phillips; a stepson and his wife, Bart and Mary Phillips of Louisville, Tenn.; mother-in-law, Ruth Phillips of Lexington; two aunts, Beth Biggerstaff of Surfside Beach and Hazel Hubbard of Gaffney; and beloved in-laws, cousins and many friends.
