By LARRY HILLIARD Ledger Sports Editor larry@gaffneyledger.com

The Hillcrest Rams made sure the Indians stayed winless in the region on Tuesday.

The Rams rallied for two runs in the bottom of the ninth to edge the visiting Indians, 6-5.

Gaffney, which drops to 0-4 in the region, took a shortlived 5-4 in the top of the ninth when John Michaels walked and scored on Dylan Jolley's double.

Bobby Jackson, who relieved starter Tyler Wilson, got the loss.

The Indians went up 2-0 before the Rams tied it in the second.

The Rams took the lead with a run in the third before the Indians regained the advantage with two runs in the fifth.
