James V. Allison II and Jessica Elizabeth Farish James V. Allison II and Jessica Elizabeth Farish Farish - Allison

Steve and Harriet Farish of Gaffney announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Elizabeth, to James Vernon Allison II of Gaffney.

Miss Farish is the granddaughter of O.C. and Barbara Farish of Gaffney and the late Park and Nancy Thomson who lived in Sharon. A graduate of Gaffney High School, she attended Spartanburg Tech and is a veterinary technician with Dr. Grant.

Mr. Allison is the son of James Allison of Gaffney and grandson of Carrie Campbell of Gaffney and J.D. Allison of Cowpens. He graduated from Gaffney High School and is a machinist at Timken.

A May 3 wedding is planned at Buford Street United Methodist Church.

Earls - Wilkins

Tabatha Christeena Earls and Joel Bruce Wilkins Jr., both of Blacksburg, announce their engagement. A Sept. 27 wedding is planned.

Miss Earls is the daughter of Jeannie Davis and Jessie "Verdell" Earls, both of Blacksburg. She is the granddaughter of Peggy Vess Wheat of Blacksburg, Harold W. Davis of Gaffney. Shirley Earls of Blacksburg and the late Jessie "Dick" Earls. Her maternal great-grandmother is Estelle Davis of Gaffney. A 2000 graduate of Blacksburg High School, she will graduate in May from Cherokee Technology Center School of Nursing and is employed by Peachtree Centre.

Tabatha Christeena Earls and Joel Bruce Wilkins Jr. Tabatha Christeena Earls and Joel Bruce Wilkins Jr. Mr. Wilkins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joel "Bruce" Wilkins Sr. of Blacksburg. He is the grandson of Delores Montgomery of York, George Wilkins Sr. of Blacksburg, the late J.R. Montgomery and the late Sallie Turner Wilkins. A 2000 graduate of Blacksburg High School, he received an associate's degree in art in 2002 from Spartanburg Methodist College and graduated in 2004 from Clemson University with a degree in agricultural mechanization. He is employed by Bobcat of Spartanburg.
