Woman's club meets March 11

The Tuesday Woman's Club met March 11 in the formal parlors of the Curtis Building on the campus of Limestone College.

The president, Mrs. Kurt Jolliff, called the meeting to order and during a short business session, gave a list of officers for the 2008-2009 year that were presented by the nominating committee. Officers will voted upon at the April meeting.

After business was completed, Mrs. John O. Childers introduced the program speakers, Mrs. Peirette Lutz, manager of Hamrick's Inc. retail store in Gaffney, and Debra Raines, her assistant.

They brought with them a collection of spring and summer ensembles from the store and told the group that bright colors and mix-andmatch outfits would be a favorite this spring and summer.

Following the program, refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Gene Cooper, Mrs. John O. Childers and Mrs. Bill Peeler.
