Limestone names director of Extended Campus program
SOKOLS Patricia Sokols has been named Limestone College's new Director of the Extended Campus Classroom Program. Sokols' duties include recruiting students, marketing, recommending faculty, assisting faculty, and supervising personnel at the various site locations.
The Limestone Extended Campus Classroom Program provides working adults the opportunity to earn an associate's or bachelor's degree through a distinctive, accelerated format. Courses are offered at sites throughout South Carolina, including Gaffney, Columbia, Charleston, Florence, Kingstree, Yemassee, the Aiken/North Augusta area, and a new location in Greer. These sites offer evening courses during 11 four-week blocks throughout the year.
Sokols has been employed by Limestone College since 1989, serving in the Registrar's Office, Alumni/Development, and the Extended Campus Program. Since May 2007, she has been Associate Director of the Extended Campus Classroom Program.
Sokols received an associate of arts in Business from Limestone in 1993 and a bachelor of science in Business Administration and Management from Limestone in 1995. She is currently enrolled at Gardner-Webb University, working toward a Master of Business Administration degree.
