CLOGGING TEAM WINS GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP AWARDS - The Southern Jewels Sapphire 2 Clogging Team of Julia's Dance Company recently won the Grand Championship Award in its last two clogging competitions. The dancers won the overall award at the Winter Clogging Classic held in Saluda, N C., on March 1 and the Smokey Mountain Encore Clogging Competition in Gatlinburg, Tenn., on March 8. Members of the team are (l-r) Lauren Fowler, Kaitlan Queen, Amber Wallace, Kennedy Downs (team captain), Morgan Holmes, Anna McMakin, Olivia Phillips, Katelyn Smith, Logan Scoggins, Halley Gainey, Tanner Griffin, Caitlyn Benson and Alexis Wilson (team captain). Elyse Little was absent when photo was made.
