Cubie Lee Mitcham
Retired from Phoenix Mill in Kings Mountain
Cubie Lee Mitcham, 88, a resident of Peachtree Centre, went home to be with the Lord on March 25, 2008 at Peachtree Centre. Born in Crowders Mountain, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Junius Lee Mitcham and Lillie Guyton Mitcham. She was retired from Phoenix Mill in Kings Mountain and was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are a son, Paul J. Dunn and wife, Nancy, of Forest City, N.C.; a daughter Zora (Becky) Waltman and husband, John Jr., of Gaffney; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Richard Steven Dunn, and two great-great-grandsons, Hayden Arrowood and Michael Arrowood. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Peachtree Centre, 1434 N. Limestone Street, Gaffney, S.C. 29340. The family will be at the home of Becky Waltman, 304 Nations Ave. Arrangements will be announced by Blakely Funeral Home. |
