Janie R. Hopper

Janie Mae Rainey Hopper, 81, of 410 W. Frederick St., passed away Friday, April

11, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. at her home.

A native of Cherokee County, she was the widow of Theodore

Hopper Sr.

and daughter of the late Tom Rainey and the late Mattie Byers Rainey. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Theodore Hopper Jr.

Surviving are a daughter, Linda Kaye Hopper of the home; three sons, James E. Hopper of Gaffney, Charles E. Hopper and Ricky G. Hopper of the home; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is at 410 W. Frederick St.
