Police preparing more warrants for eight suspects in home invasion As Gaffney police continued their search for two of eight men suspected in an April 2 home invasion on Providence Road, the lead investigator was preparing a raft of new charges. From last Friday through Tuesday afternoon, police had taken six of the eight suspects into custody each on a charge of burglary, a charge that also was awaiting the two men who had not yet been captured. Det. Sgt. Ron Ramsey prepared arrest warrants Thursday accusing each of the eight men with additional offenses of burglary for a break-in at the Corner Stop #2 convenience store, grand larceny at the Providence Road home, grand larceny at the convenience store, armed robbery, assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and kidnapping. Two of the new arrest warrants that had already been served against one of the six suspects in custody alleged more than $5,000 was stolen from the Providence Road home and more than $5,000 was stolen from the convenience store. It was initially believed that five men broke into the Providence Road home in the early morning hours of April 2. A 32-year-old woman allegedly was held at gun and knifepoint while her home was ransacked and the home invaders stole her keys to the nearby Corner Stop #2 convenience store, where the home invaders subsequently broke into cash boxes. The woman was beaten during the incident and had to be treated for her injuries. Police still are looking for two men: Josh Manning, 21, who had a last known address of West Smith Street, and John Bonner, 17, who had a last known address as Robinson Street. In custody are: Terry Deon Littlejohn, 18, of Jolly Drive; Labrontae Agnew, 17, of Chandler Drive; Kwame Rashad Douglas, 17, of Bonner Lake Road; Robert Landrum Wilson Jr., 19, of Brookwood Drive; Kendrick Rashad Tate, 18, of Winchester Drive; and Billy Rodgers, 19, of Peeler Street. Ramsey said he would present the new arrest warrants to a judge Thursday afternoon. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the remaining two suspects can contact Ramsey at (864) 206-3320.
