1990 GHS grad receives doctorate degree from Nova

TRAVIS O'NEAL DAVIDSON TRAVIS O'NEAL DAVIDSON Dr. Travis O'Neal Davidson, a 1990 graduate of Gaffney Senior High School, recently received his Doctor of Organizational Leadership degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Dr. Davidson, son of Joe Annie Davidson, received a B.A. degree in civil engineering from South Carolina State University in 1995 and a MBA in 2005 from Gardner-Webb University.

Dr. Davidson has held several positions throughout his career. He accepted a position with Georgia Department of Transportation as a project manager/engineer in 1995 and in 1998 began work with the City of Charlotte as a construction investigator. He later became employed by the City of Augusta as the city's project manager and 2005, he accepted a position with the City of Gastonia as Division Manager of Field Operations, while also working as an adjunct faculty member at Gardner-Webb University. Dr. Davidson is presently Director of Roads and Bridges in Volusia County, Fla.
