Paramedics and firefighters carefully remove Marquise Camp from his Jeep. He was placed on a backboard to immobilize him and treated and released at Upstate Carolina Medical Center. A man was taken to the hospital Wednesday following a vehicle collision that caused one vehicle to roll over.

The accident happened at about 1:20 p.m. near the convergence of South Logan and South Granard Street.

An accident report states the driver of a Plymouth Neon, 19-year-old Brandon Harrill, was headed south on South Logan when he failed to yield the right of way to a Jeep driven by 24-year-old Marquise Camp, of East Buford Street, who was headed south on South Granard.

The two vehicles collided as the Jeep attempted to turn onto Yale Street, causing the Jeep to overturn before coming to rest upright.

Harrill's car sustained an estimated$2,500 in damage while Camp's vehicle sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage.
