WMU spring meeting April 21

The Associational WMU spring meeting will be held at Oakdale Baptist Church on Monday, April 21, beginning at 6 p.m. The theme is "Get In On the (Mission) Action."

Jim Evatt will be the missionary speaker. Jointly appointed by the South Carolina Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board, he serves as Church and Community Ministries Coordinator for the Saluda Baptist Association in Anderson.

Donna Britt, South Carolina Woman's Missionary Union Association, Acteens and WMU Growth, will be the state WMU representative speaker.

A short business session will be held when officers for the coming year will be elected. Churches that have experienced growth in their WMU organizations during the past year will be recognized.

Following the business session, an inspirational program is planned. The theme interrelation will be given by Ms. Britt. The topic of Evatt's message will be "Serving a Cup of Living Water." Special music will be brought by Steve Scruggs, a member of Oakdale.

The meeting is not just for WMU members; anyone who is interested in missions is welcome to attend.
