      The Camellia Society of Gaffney presented its 2008 debutantes at the annual Camellia Ball on Saturday evening, April 19, from eight o'clock until midnight at the Marriott in Spartanburg. Miss Sara Jean Berry is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Scott Donald Berry. She was presented by her father and escorted by Bryan Mathew Bauman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Joseph Bauman.

Danni's Gymnastics participates in South Carolina championship
Team member Hannah Bowers wins 1st place honors on beam
      Myrtle Beach was the location for the S.C. Level 4- 5 State Gymnastics Championships, and Danni's Gymnastics finished its season on March 14-15, Aleka Tsiknias, a Level 4 gymnast, finished vault with a score of 9.2, beam with 8.975 for 4th place, and 4th on floor.

      Jo'Siyah Ahnyse Goode YiaKetta Davidson and Joseph Goode of Gaffney announce the birth of their daughter, Jo'Siyah Ahnyse, on March 26, 2008, in Mary Black Memorial Hospital weighing 5 lbs. 8 ozs. Maternal grandparents are Billy and Cheryl Rodgers of Gaffney. Paternal grandparents are Mike and Helen Gaffney of Cowpens and the the Lonnie Joe Goode.
