Camp designed for children who have experienced loss

Gentiva Hospice will be offering a camp for children this summer. Camp Brave Heart is designed for children, ages 7-14, who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Regardless of the type of loss or the reason for the loss, all children are invited to apply to attend Camp Brave Heart.

Experiencing a loss at any age is difficult, but it is especially hard on a child.

Camp Brave Heart is run by clinical experts who understand the healing process and who genuinely care about the children that are left behind.

In addition to therapeutic groups and activities, the children will participate in indoor and outdoor activities such as arts and crafts, boating, tubing, swimming, canoeing, field games and much more.

The camp will be held at Camp Woodmont in Cloudland, Georgia August 1- 4. Transportation will be provided. For more information or to receive an application simply call Chaplain Dave Garner at (864) 329-0588.
