MEALS ON WHEELS GETS 'GOOD WORKS' GRANT -  Meals on Wheels will celebrate its 25th anniversary on May 1. Andrew Williams, store manager of the Gaffney Wal-Mart, and Jackie Childers of the store's vision center and grant coordinator present MOW director, Terry Dennis, right, a "Good Works" grant from Wal-Mart. Meals on Wheels depends on the generosity of others to continue to meet the growing need in Cherokee County. The organization serves 9,000 meals a month at no cost to the recipients.
