Alyssa Shy-Anne Norman

BLACKSBURG - Alyssa Shy-Anne Norman, 11 -weekold daughter of Jerry Norman Jr. and Tina Mosley Norman, of 117 Whisonant St., went home to be with Jesus on Friday, May 2, 2008, at her residence.

Alyssa Shy-Anne was born in Gaffney.

In addition to her parents, also surviving are a brother, Jerry Norman III of the home; maternal grandparents, Lisa and Donald Mosley of Blacksburg; paternal grandparents, Roxanne and Barry Wilson of Blacksburg; greatgrandmother, Gladys Blackwell of Gaffney; maternal great-grandparents, Lucille and Grady Mosley of Blacksburg; paternal great-grandparents, Frank and Carolyn Chariker of Blacksburg; and paternal great-grandmother, Mattie Mae Lanier of York.

She was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Jerry Norman Sr; maternal great-grandfather, Henry Blackwell; and paternal great-grandfather, Boyce Norman.

She will be taken to the residence of Gladys Blackwell, 107 Guthrie St., where the family will receive friends.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Cherokee Falls Missionary Fellowship Church with the Rev. Gregg Martin officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.
