GHS grad earns law degree from Charleston Southern

CHARLESTON - Chisa Johnson Putman of Cowpens received a law degree Saturday, May 10, during the second graduation convocation of the Charleston School of Law.

After three years of study, Putman was one of 163 students to receive the juris doctor degree.

Putman is the wife of Byron Putman and mother of Byron "Dmitri" Putman II. She is the daughter of Eureka J. Johnson and Timothy L. Hunter of Cowpens and granddaughter of Gladys R. Johnson of Cowpens and the late M. Roger Johnson Sr.

Putman is a 2003 graduate of Winthrop University, where she received her B.A. in Political Science and she is a 1999 graduate of Gaffney High School.
