Frank B. Myers

Frank Brown Myers, 87, formerly of West Wind Village Apartments, widower of Velda T. Myers, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in Peachtree Centre.

Born in China Grove, N.C., Mr. Myers was a son of the late Jefferson Franklin and Lola Mae Garwood Myers. He was a retired textile employee and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Myers was known around Gaffney as "The Vegetable Man" for his habit of sharing with others.

Surviving are his daughters, Brenda M. Overcash of Salisbury, N.C., and Sandra M. Lee of St. Augustine, Fla.; his son, Mark C. Myers of Salisbury; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-greatgrandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The families are at their respective homes.

The family asks that memorial contributions be directed to Hospice Care of S.C., 1612 N. Limestone St., Gaffney, S.C. 29341.
