Consumer group in town Thursday to take complaints

The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs (SCDA) will visit Gaffney on Thursday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cherokee County Public Library, 300 E. Rutledge Ave.

SCDA Outreach Coordinator Patty Guthrie will be available to answer consumer questions or take complaints. Consumers are advised to bring documentation with them.

Guthrie also will have materials and information available for residents who want to know how to protect themselves from identity theft.
