      Dear Editor: I'm writing to tell you something I think you should know and the world as well. I am a healthcare professional and I have worked in this field for about 8 1/2 years.       Dear Editor: If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times. If citizens would spay and neuter their animals and be responsible, there would be no problems requiring them to go to a shelter (or prison).
