GARDEN OF SECRETS
 Dara Thompson appears in the Gaffney Little Theatre's production of the classic musical, The Secret Garden, as Mary Lennox as she joins hands with Lily, long-dead wife of Archibald Craven, portrayed by Meg Foster. Mary, whose parents died of cholera in India, is taken in by Archibald Craven, a bitter hunchback who has been inconsolable since his beloved wife, Lily, died in childbirth. Mary learns that Craven's estate might still contain a wonderful English garden, and when she discovers the garden she has many surprises in store for her. The Secret Garden runs Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and closes with a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. Call 4889-4589 for reservations. |
