Absentee ballots available

Local residents who wish to cast absentee ballots in the June 10 primary election may do so now at the voter registration office at the Peachtree Centre, 1434 N. Limestone St., Room 1008 on the first floor.

The office is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., and will be open Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. until noon. The office will be closed in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 26.

In order to be eligible to vote in this election, one must have been registered to vote prior to May 10, 2008.
