GHS student awarded scholarship from Winthrop

KATHERINE RHYNE Katherine Olivia Rhyne has been awarded the President's' Academic Scholarship from Winthrop University. She is also recipient of a Palmetto Fellows Scholarship, a merit-based scholarship program administered by the S.C. Commission on Higher Education.

Rhyne intends to pursue a degree in Business-Finance and Spanish. She has been recognized at Gaffney High School as an Outstanding Senior and an Honor Graduate, ranking seventh in the Class of 2008. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard S. Rhyne.
