Carol (Rowdy) Vicky Smith Rayfield

Carol Vicky (Rowdy) Smith Rayfield, 45, of 106 Ellis Ferry Ave, Apt. 207, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at her residence.

A native of Gaffney, Mrs. Rayfield was a loving wife, homemaker and sister who adored her pets, Boo-Boo and Wimpy. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and worked in textiles.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Rayfield, of the home and two sisters, Rhonda McMahel of Chesnee and Carol Parris Blackwell of Gaffney.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Floyd Peeler.

A memorial service for Mrs. Rayfield will be held at a later date in Murrells Inlet.

The family will be at the home of Carol Blackwell, 111 Cypress Drive.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Carol Rayfield Burial Fund, c/o Gordon Mortuary, P.O. Box 428, Blacksburg, S.C. 29702.
