Mr. Kelly Rochester
Mr. Kelly Jean Rochester, 57, of 274 Darwin Road, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2008, at his residence.
Born in Boiling Springs, N.C., he was the husband of Janice Evelyn Mace Rochester and son of the late Paul Rochester and Helen Kelley Rochester. He was employed by Ultimate Textiles in Rutherfordton, N.C., and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Brian Rochester and his fiancé, Ashley Erwin, of Gaffney and Kevin Rochester and wife, Mandy, of Gaffney; a daughter, Karen Farmer and husband, Ryan, of Gaffney; two brothers, Albert Rochester of Shelby, N.C., and Dennis Rochester and wife, Lynn, of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters, Paulette Rochester of Shelby, Dean Wilson of Bessemer City, N.C., and Kathy Matthews and husband, Eddie, of Thomaston, Ga.; a special aunt, Norma Kelley of Del Rio, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren, Taylor Rochester, Hannah Rochester, Drayson Rochester, Graycee Rochester, Brayden Rochester, Heather Porter, Steven Porter, Dylan Harris, Taylor Farmer and Jordan Farmer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Rochester was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Rochester and Tommy Rochester.
The family will receive friends Saturday, May 24, from 2:30-3:45 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens at 4 p.m., immediately following the visitation, and will be conducted by the Rev. Norman Gardner.
