Burger King tops FPF, 11-5

Matthew Overton went 3 for 3 and Jordan DeStaffino had a triple and two RBIs to lead the Burger King Red Sox to an 11-5 victory over First Piedmont Federal in a Minor League matchup.

The winning coaches also praised their team's defensive effort.

In Mite League play, Colby Parker homered to power J.M. Brown to a 13-10 win over Sanders Bros.

Jaden Minor doubled and knocked in four runs, while Ryan Christopher had a RBI triple and Quincy Littlejohn doubled and knocked in a run for the winners.

Cody Lee doubled and Jake Person, Parker and Christian Winkler had RBIs for J.M. Brown.

Lee also homered in the team's 13-4 forfeit win over Ace Hardware.

Christopher and Pearson each tripled and knocked in two runs, while Parker, Minor and Winkler all had RBIs. Dustin Smith also knocked home a run for the winners.
