Believer's Institute for Biblical Studies holds commencement services May 26

The Believer's Institute for Biblical Studies, a ministry of Northside Baptist Church, held its 2008 graduation ceremonies on May 26. Five persons received a Certificate of Attendance - two in the bachelor's program and three in the master's program. Twelve received a Diploma of Biblical Studies and five received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies.

After the commencement, a reception for the graduates was held in the training center at 301 Holland St., where between 65 and 70 people enjoyed an assortment of food.

The next semester will begin Sept. 8 and continue until Nov. 10. Classes are held on Mondays from 6-9 p.m. Courses to be offered in the bachelor's program include Basic Bible Doctrines I, Joshua and Hebrews. There will be a special module on revival Tuesday, Oct. 7, from 6-9 p.m.
