Brookview residents go ridin'in style during National Nursing Home Week

Motorcyclists, Singing Cowboys on hand for celebration

Brookview Healthcare pulled out all the stops during its recent observance of National Nursing Home Week with lots of fun activities for the residents, staff and visitors. Highlights of the week were Motorcycle Day on Wednesday, May 14, and Western Day on Friday, May 16.

A number of area motorcyclists rode their bikes to Brookview on Motorcycle Day for the enjoyment of the residents and staff, many of whom hopped on for a spin around the block.

The week's grand finale was Western Day featuring horse and carriage rides and a catered barbecue meal. The Singing Cowboys provided entertainment and had everyone tapping their feet to some rousing Western tunes.
