Irene Pool opens June 9

Irene Municipal Pool at 304 W. Montgomery St. will open for the summer Monday, June 9. Hours are 1:30-5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission is $2. A two-week beginner swim class will be offered for ages six and older Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 6:30-7:15 p.m., beginning June 16. The $30 fee must be paid by June 13. Private groups may rent the pool before or after public pool hours for a $50 per hour fee.
