Bobby Scruggs

Bobby Harold Scruggs, 79, of 105 Redwood Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.

Born in Cherokee County, he was the loving husband of Lottie Towery Scruggs for 58 year and was the son of the late Claude Scruggs and Dovie Davis Scruggs.

Mr. Scruggs was a veteran

of the United States

Air Force and was

retired from Duke Power Company after 35 years of employment. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lottie Towery Scruggs.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, June 3, at 11 a.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Scott Kierstead.

The family will meet with friends at the graveside after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Baptist Church, 1508 Cherokee Ave., Gaffney, S.C. 29340.

The family is at the residence.
