76ers, Burns Chevrolet, B& B Trojans stay perfect

The 76ers, Burns Chevrolet and B&B Trojans continued their winning ways in Cherokee County Summer Youth Basketball League play this week.

Christian Munsterman scored 14 points to lead the 76ers past the Wildcats, 47-35, in Division I play.

L.J. Peake poured in 14 points to lead Division II powerhouse B&B Trojans to a 44-35 victory over Daddy Joe's on Tuesday, while Kevin Choice added 14 in team's 46-27 romp over the Lakers on Monday.

Burns Chevrolet also stayed unbeaten in Divsion II as T.J. Ogelsby scored 13 points in a 42-25 victory over the Wolfpack.

In other Monday games, Josh Corry had a game-high 20 points in the Indians' 48-44 victory over the Clippers; Roy Lee Smith had 16 points as the Bearcats topped the Kings, 61-51.

In Division II action on Tuesday, Justin Thompson had 14 points to lift SageSport to a 49-37 overtime win over Freightliner. Tee Smith had 15 points in a losing cause.

Tromaine Logan scored 12 points as the Blue Devils beat the Lakers, 47-32.

League games resume on Friday with three Division I matchups and a one Division II contest.
