Daisy Elaise Elliott, 80, of 949 Old Post Road ,went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Startex, she was the wife of Francis L. Elliott and daughter of the late David Lowery and Floy McElvey Lowery. Mrs. Elliott was retired from Oxford Industries of Gaffney and was a member of Midway Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Francis F. Elliott and wife, Sharon, of Ocean Pines, Md., Donald L. Elliott of the home and Johnny F. Elliott and wife, Vicky, of Gaffney; three brothers, David Lowery of Lattimore N.C., and Charles Lowery and Jimmy Lowery, both of North Carolina; three sisters, Gertrude Smith of Gaffney, Pauline Turner of North Carolina and Juanita Merritt of Salisbury, N.C.; four grandchildren, Stephan Elliott, Michael Elliott, Misty Elliott and Tyler Elliott; and four great-grandchildren, Madison Abba Elliott, Faith Marie Elliott, Camden Jordan Elliott and Issac Christopher Lorr.

Visitation was held Thursday, June 5, from 3-4 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Services immediately followed at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Mr. Ashby Blakely. Interment was in Oakland Cemetery.

The family will be at the residence.
